We currently have Chardonnay, Verdelho and Chambourcin planted.
We started producing Unruly Wines in 2021.
We have produced this many bottles since our first vintage!! We love seeing this!!

Before budburst a wire from each row comes down, and in a few weeks we’ll lift them all back up so they catch the new shoots and hold them upright, which keeps the canopy open and gives the fruit its sun and air.
Our wines are grown in these rows, so the quiet jobs like this one end up in your glass.

This Saturday you’ll find us at Caves Coastal Beer, Food & Wine 🍷 Festival pouring our small-batch, single vineyard wines on the lawns overlooking Caves Beach.
Come find us for a taste of Bubbles, Verdelho, Chardonnay, Shiraz and our Chambourcin, a red that surprises almost everyone that tries it.

We set the table long before anyone arrives. Magnolia branches down the middle, a glass at every place, cheese boards out and waiting, and the wines lined up ready to pour.
This is The Unruly Table, a vineyard tasting brought to where you’re already staying, so there’s no driving, no queueing, and no counter between you and the people who grew the fruit. Five wines 🍷 poured one at a time, cheese 🧀 or chocolate 🍫 matched as we go, and a mystery pour near the end that usually gets the whole table arguing happily.

The pruners were in at dawn, fog still low through the rows, starting on the verdelho and then on to the chardonnay.
Winter in the vineyard is slow, careful work, every cut shaping what next season becomes. This is where next year’s wines actually begin.
