Fabulous morning to finish harvesting our Chardonnay. These grapes 🍇 will go into our ‘Nude’ & ‘Wild’.
‘Nude’ is our unoaked version, just pure glorious chardonnay, and ‘Wild’ is produced using natural yeast & fermented in oak barrels.
The grapes are now thankfully in the winery being crushed & cold stabilised before the heat of the day sets in.
Whites are now done & dusted. for @unrulywines for 2026. 😓 🍇🍷❤️

Chardonnay is in — and our 2026 bubbles journey has officially begun. ✨🍇

We’ve just harvested our Chardonnay for Unruly Blanc de Blancs, and it’s heading into méthode traditionnelle (the classic, time-honoured wayof making champagne) fermentation, then a second ferment in bottle, then time… and more time).

Thanks to @granvinoharvesting - great job!!!!

Right now it’s all fresh citrus and crunchy green apple. Next comes patience — letting it evolve into something seriously special.

If you love sparkling with texture, finesse, and a little edge… keep watching this space. 🥂

So……. first harvest of #vintage26 for @unrulywines! We harvested 2 weeks early due to the recent bout of 40 degree days. Fruit looks amazing and we harvested 12.5 tonne of Verdelho. Two very happy vignerons here!!! 🧑‍🌾 👩‍🌾 🍇🍷❤️ @brokefordwich @singletonhuntervalley @huntervalley
